amazon echo


 Well i will give Amazon an A+ for packaging and ease of setup and integration with my iPhone    It is an excellent speaker and Alexa's voice is pleasant and she hears quite well.  The gotcha happened when i asked her to play something from my music.  This girl thinks only of Amazon and knows nothing of my music ... what a shame.  But she bluetooths well ... so i paird her and now can ask Siri to play on her.  Too bad I don't know how to get Alexa and Siri to cooperate and work together ... then i would feel better about letting Alexa into my bedroom. 

But like i said, she Alexa listens well ... we were talking about her and i said to Denise, "I wish Alexa would just fuck off",  she heard ... and responded, "Thanks for the feedback".

So here is a case where if Amazon would cooperate with Apple by allowing Alexa to know how to play the iTunes libaray, they would have made a product far more useful to the consumer ... but because they put competition above cooperation, they failed ... see also 15773.

This actually is a very excellent Bluetooth speaker .  

I wish i could integrate the control of our audio space between it and the TV via Alexa's voice recognition.  Who knows, maybe this kit provides the tools.
