Mini-Epiphany

There is not much difference between Occultists who hide their secrets, beliefs & magic behind symbols, arcane & foreign words & concepts & ontologies which serve their own purposes & modern day materialists of the mind who hide their own material behind secret abstractions that only they themselves can find in their own private minds & in the minds of those that agree with them.
Right now the partisans of political power in their own clubs produce the magic of their own control of the people implying & creating the illusion that someone actually voted & agreed for them to do so.
The magic is not limited to politics but shows up in beliefs, memes & conversations all over social media. (***)

Well, yes ... for once i agree with your epiphany.  There is no difference.   I think what you have seen is a property of our diverse separated minds themselves.  It does not matter whether they are occultists, scientists, bloggers, or politicians ... the same phenomena obtains.

But it is interesting to note, that to make your sentences ring true ... even to me ... you necessarily needed to add, "& in the minds of those that agree with them".   That, of course, is the fact about interacting minds that for me stands out as its most important feature:  that minds can agree and sync up.  Sans that we actually do have a total tower of babble and arguing.
Read the body of the item it has had that all the time.

I know .   My point is that it is the agreement between minds which allow them to actually work in a larger sense than just thinking privately.  I didn't find that point in the body of this item penned today.
People agree - minds do not & are private. You have proved that quite well already.

yep people's minds agree (or not) ... they are private except where they communicate and agree .  there is the assumption here that a mind is not just something physically contained inside a human skull of an individual human.
Yep see 18380 for my version which yours does not agree with.

Well your 18380 represents to me your obsession with calling everything arguing.  I had  thought that the epiphany in this item went beyond that to realize that our separate minds will necessarily represent things differently.  And, of course, that those separate minds extend to those who agree.
