The primary cause of communication failures are vague and ambiguous references.

Huh? ??? - You were talking presumably about failure to communicate & I was asking you to apply your insights & become a shining example - was that unclear or do you need endless questioning to hide behind.  This was not an example - try harder (or not).

WTF are you pointing at?   Why are you pointing at it here in this context?  Are you refering to your own egoo?  That is my best guess.

That is the problem with ambiguous references, the audience is left to guess to what they refer ... and  will frequently guess wrong. 

Why would it help me, or us, for me to smell your egoo?

Incidentally, were this new word, "egoo",  to be used such that we both know what it points to, i think it is a great coin
 .

Incidentally, my intention of publishing this item is to point out that ambiguous references do not reliably communicate.  I believe that we both can feel that as true. And, no,  there is no profundity to it ... me thinks it is just common knowledge ... it is justified true belief. 

This item can now be used as a symbol of that knowledge ... as a sign pointing it out.
