OMG ... the title almost compells me to read the article.

"The recommendation came after the psychologists spent weeks showing research subjects video clips of the debate’s potential participants and observed striking improvements in the subjects’ overall morale and sense of worth.

“We interviewed the volunteers before we exposed them to the Republican candidates and afterward,” said psychologist Davis Logsdon. “The spike in their self-esteem was off the charts.”

... it is strange

, however, that Andy does not specify the actual report allegedly published by "Psychologists at the University of Minnesota". Me, i expect a bit of a spoof here ... especially since a cursory search of the University papers does not yield any such recent announcement.

source: Bob Smith Andy Borowitz is the New Yorker's incorrigible columnist with a flair for, as you say, the spoof. Nothing he ever writes is literally real, but always figuratively real -- a real feat accompli for a columnist.

... ok, got it ... read Borowitz like the onion ... who knew?

... and me almost going to subscribe to the New Yorker just to keep columns like this always accessible

Wow ... i am surprised

. But by now you have surly seen the inidital questions about Trump running as a third party and Megyn Kelly's questiononing in the beginning about Trum's tone tward women. Can you remember your initial visceral reaction ... unvarnished by your own political adgenda? Mine was, OMG

he is insulting the republican boys club and he is insulting women .. his egoo shows no regard for common consciousness or even decency. Obciously not my thing.

but i am truly curious ... what was your initial visceral reaction to Trump's answers?
