According to those assumptions, how many different directed circles can we arrange on these three things?

Counting only the possible changes:

1. thought to feeling - (resolution)
   
2. thought to action - (motivation)
   
3. feeling to action - (motivation)
   
4. feeling to thought - (recognition)
   
5. action to  thought - (recognition)
   
6. action to feeling - (resolution)
   

In the special case where a macro change involves all 3 in sequence ... there are only two

1. thought to feeling, feeing to action, action to thought
2. thought to action, action to feeling, feeling to thought

... or in other words there are only two ways around the circle: clockwise, or counter clockwise.
