I think we can assume that the coordinate system against which something is measured will introduce a bias that is not in the thing itself.

Here is an example from kinematics: the relationship between events is given by this formula. The bias here is that the events happen within a Euclidean Space.

What if the distance between events does not matter at all to the events themselves and those distances are merely an artifact of how some agent becomes aware of the events? For example each event would happen or not regardless of its Cartesian distance from any other event.

We could ask: is there a way to become aware of events such that their distance from each other is not even represented in our consciousness?

Let me propose one such way ...

sketching this: think cause/effect or the prerequisites necessary for the event to happen, rather than location of an event in 4 dimensional cartisian space as an alternate coordinate system against which to recon happenings.

What specific scientific measurement proves that the proximity of events determines whether an event happens of not? I am not saying there is no such evidence ... but nothing specific comes to my mind at the moment.

Incidentally if proximity of events is entirely determined (chosen) by the experiencer of the event, then nathan's multiverses might obtain. Right?
