That is typical for apple. They have an orientation setting which apple devices honor, but very few other devices do.

there is a gadget on the image properties that looks like it would rotate, but it doesn’t do anything.

That’s refresh, not rotate.

Extra mula and I can add an image editor with all the bling.

Yep. Annoying, but them are the apples. That’s why you see upside down and sideways selfies on social media all the time.

old site grabbs the url if the about description is blank … edit or create .. doesnt matter. i even thought if it cold not grab it, it said something like “title not available”. i don’t remember having this proble with blank About lines when any URL was present.

another thing that was wierd on the iPad Pro is that the icons in the tool bar were all wierdly other images, not the ones that appear on a laptop, or desktop, or even a ipod mini, or even a iphone.

Interesting. Those are actually not images. It is a font built into the Bootstrap package. Because they are a font they take up very little resources compared to images and they can be any size and still look great. No idea why a normally loaded font wouldn’t show up on iPad Pro though. Could be a bug of theirs still. Maybe ios 9.0. I just downloaded that on my iPhone today, but haven’t used it yet.

that would explain it … the icons were actual icons, but just different thingies … like there was a camera for the person of something like that. some of them were the same though (but styled different).

can’t quite figure this out. when i download the images they look right side up in the all the viewing software on my hard disk … but are upside down on the screen here.

Well like I said, iDevices stamp the photos with an orientation that the photo was taken in on your device. All your software uses that to flip it right side up when displayed. Web browsers just ignore the orientation. There should be one way you can hold the device, perhaps different for each device, that looks right side up on the web though.

yeah, i found that landscape/home-right is the most stable with my little iPhone when projected elsewhere. but it is weird that this iPad Pro was sitting there in it’s normal orientation with its keyboard and I just took a selfie and it projected here wrong. somebody got their signals switched.
