like … do you still want to change the font size of your ming characters here?

about 2/3 or even ½ the height might work. Would have to do a tryout.  In the corresponding characters in Chinese are fontable or change with the font size like 噬 but,

A developer could now create a custom plugin for the editor so that these characters could be input directly.
The plugin could be sold in the up and coming FBI app store or be just for your own use.
Wonder how many Nickels you would be willing to give a developer for that?

thing is, even though i called these fonts, they are not stickly fonts, but rather what is returned to the page via Marks the mingchar program at  and the hyperlinks to the english verse must be preserved.  i thought all that would be necessary is attach a CSS style to the mingchar command.

Shouldn’t matter. As long as you can make them into an image somehow, even by screen scraping, then you could make them into an insertable item in the editor and it can be a link, or titled, or whatever you want. Not saying it wouldn’t be tedious work to do each one … but it is very doable and 99% of the work is just creating a standard ckeditor plugin … a well documented thing to do. Then finally it will get a little wrapper to become an FBI app in the FBI app store.

i think you are missing the point.  this is whole dictionary … one types in “sum” and the command transleates it and gives the verse … sum …. all mark is asking is that the display size on the screen be decreased … not a big project of making screen scrapes and a font.  please click on the chinese charactrer to see it translated into verse in CFR’s dictionary.

Thanks, but no thanks. Not into atom pushing in my verse. I’m a top down bouncy parkour kind of guy. The atoms can take care of themselves.
fine … when i get access to the program which interperts command into HTML … i’ll do it myself, if mark still wants it.  i mean all it is affixing a sizer to a <img> tag …. hardly  need a Tigger for that laugh

It seemed like it was an easy thing to change size to make pages with wenchee display a little neater. Oh, well … It really doesn’t bother me though. The point is not to learn or speak Chinese. It is a spiritual exercise which combines the current trend to make a word mean something & a symbol for each & the practice of intoning them & making talismen & a bunch of other stuff. CFR taught at least a half dozen alphabets including Greek, Hebrew, Russian, Krypt, Ming & Latin & some Arabic.  The way he named the small projective geometry books is quite fascinating & needed the yonfer to help do the job.
But never mind I’m sure these are not the droids you folks are looking for.

well it is rediculously easy to do

 $s=$s . sprintf('<img src="" alt="%s"  border="0" />',$i,$chr,$char);

just insert a height:60px in the img tag above in common.php

so apparently this is not done & the previous set of groups I had for the roving identity I now have to remember their passwords again.
Check your “go to group” dialog.
