don’t know how to select the image

try again …

no way to get gadgets on the pictures … or even get into the image property dialogue … same on iPad and Surface

Seems that one must orient the pad so that the magnetic connection to the keyboard does not work … See one which was oriented right.

Well, I would not say that there is “no way” to set image properties, since I succeeded in doing it on an iPhone by understanding all the nuances of the apple touch interface. However, I will agree that it is not easy, or even what I would call practical.

Briefly, by lots of pinching and zooming and moving things around you can eventually get the editor and the image in your screen. Then, by holding your finger on the image for just the right amount of time, which is very critical, you can select the image. Then clear the selection popup by choosing copy. Then, since the image is still selected, you can now touch the image upload button and it will bring up the properties dialog. With more shuffling and pinching and zooming, you can change the settings. So, if you know the interface, you can literally do just about anything on an iDevice, practical notwithstanding.
