FolkMind Homepage

source: summary about above
As we have seen above, the vision behind FolkMind is to be a powerful application with an intuitive, interactive UI that can harness the power of Internet by being capable of handing huge volume of data. Eventually, this will become the virtual brain of humanity!

Also apparently this article for digg purposes is repeated here.

You know we may imagine this stuff, but claiming it as functional is just outrageous ! I'm not sure it is helpful to include it in fastblogit pr text.

My only claim is here (c) 1994 and repeated in 2055.

FolkMind ? As per predicted there is separation among the people! Folks do not put effort as once was the case into being a loving community. There are still some isolated places where people practice the art of caring community.   It is a false impression that individuals each at their computers blogging their opinions equals a whole organism that is a loving community. FastBlogIt
works harder at bringing people of a larger range together. The Love however is left up to the individual to provide. It is easier when hidden behind some alias identity to be pevish and less loving, hense the  hackers and virus  makers  emerge. The following comment is so full of loop holes to anyone who has true intuition. "As we have seen above, the vision behind FolkMind is to be a powerful application with an intuitive, interactive UI that can harness the power of Internet by being capable of handing huge volume of data. Eventually, this will become the virtual brain of humanity!"  An electronically generated conglomeration of DATA is not the brain of humanity. The collection of this data resembles a sewer system where all the "stuff" that is reminents and fragments of what are the thoughts of mankind gets stored for a while for people to examine rather than quickly flushed.

Well I wrote something about it under web 3.0 but, I'll be damned if I can figure out which group I was in at the time.  Perhaps the wizzard can find it!

Well said, Winnie, well said .  The data is not the organism.  We are the organism. Communication systems, like fastblogit, simply facilitate and catalyze events that may not have been able to occur without help.  Without an advanced communication system like the Internet events would be too far apart and could not interact.  But it is still our intentions (~) that move things to happen, without us the data is just bits in the wind.

On the other hand the Golden Rule  is the solution at an individual level. See group goldenrule just in case it is in your part of the virtual brain of humanity.
