Free Will

Some say that the human being is body, soul & spirit . The body follows physical laws, the spirit follows spiritual laws & the soul is completely free to experience whatever it desires; consequences notwithstanding in the other two bodies. It is all an integrated whole, but like a car or a computer it can be differentiated into identifiable parts.  For Example if N were to jump into a very active volcano, his physical body would soon follow the physical laws of becoming a crispy critter someday to  be discovered by some lucky archeologist if the Earth is still here. His soul would undoubtedly experience the physical disintegration plus the intellectual wisdom of such an experience, oncoming finality etc, maybe thoughts of death. Finally the Spiritual part might begin fervently to acquire or seek another body to experience the next choice of freedom available in it & perhaps process the life just finished rather quickly.

Try it, I don’t think it requires any belief at all. Can be done as soon as you find yourself on the edge of a volcano.

Since I have not spoken of my beliefs, how would you know? You can have the version of me you create in your verse do anything that matches with your beliefs. My experience will always differ. At no point will I ever experience exactly what you experience of me. I think you well know that.

Your missing the point. It’s your verse, your experience. Set it up any way you like. The version of me in all the multiverses that best matches your beliefs and experience will participate with you. That may or may not be the version of me you are experiencing right now … probably not. But if you would like to see me jump into Mauna Loa you can have that experience. If you want to see me do it and return, you can have that experience too … if your belief structure supports it.

Beliefs are mind games about the meaning of stuff in life. If you like them I suppose you should keep them .  If you want more & questing the truthiness of yours then check out TR’s question tree to tease out a change from one set to an other set that is more empowering (still mind game, but maybe it won’t hurt or might be more fun) .
