So I have lost the password to this group. It is the way fast software was developed at one time – mostly large systems of millions of lines of code etc.
How do I reset the password?

Have an administrator change it for you  (best to give the new password offline)

Remember Seth? That you only need to log in as administrators@administrators if you need to change a root password, which would not be the case here since this is an old group and will not have a root password set and should not.  Just log in as seth@administrators, that will be fine.
