Slow cooked pork loin

5 lb pork loin going in dutch oven, over a bed of onions, garlic, …

and oregeno, 1 tsp salt and pepper.

 i trimmed most of the fat off the roast,  and lightly browned all sides and added about 1 cup of chicken stock. 

at 275 degrees … scheduled for 8 hours.

scheduled for a pulled pork meal with potatoes, salad, and greens … and then for some pork chili next week.

Tender flakey and jucey … but not so salty as you get from others.

I think i nailed the time and the temp.

so 4 meals already … denise and me with the pork and potatoes … then yesterday with pulled pork sandwitches. 

 

but the pork was all really all about chili …

so onions, peppers, garlic, bacon grease and a bit of salt ← sauteed first then brought chicken stock and beans to boil and stashed in oven here at 275 degrees for maybe 4 hours.

so maybe a total of 14 pork or pork chili meals.

very little actual cooking involved.
