OMG I JUST SAW THE MORNING MOON !


surprise surprise

… through my kitchen window.

I never did that before.  Oh, i’ve seen the moon, waining towards new in the morning … er, but not for a long time … and never through my kitchen window. 

It feels like a long lost dear friend found again smugheart … only looking backwards at me as she walks away.

 

and later in another day

the moon becomes a sliver

waining away, waining away

as the day dawns.

it may not be obvious, but this is the same moon as a waxing gibbous out of the same window.

I love a good mooning out in the morning, but I usually don’t look out the window for one. laughing
i have this running battle with denise to uncover that window of all the curtains so that i can become instantly aware of the world outside the house as i go into the kitchen.   i understand her stance, she thinks light and vision is overrated, and the light streaming in the window irritates her retinas.   we are working out a compromise.  

the morning gibbous is rare in my experience … that i noticed its complement on the same moon and was able to represent both here, was in fact a bloggable moment smug ← one of those deep subjective experiences of sum
