Dutch Apple Pie

From Bobby Flay:  Filling → Peel, core, and slice apples. Mix apple slices with sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Place apple mixture in pie shell.

this turned out much better.   sweet enough, maybe even too sweet … i’ll let you know later.

350 degress at 55 minutes. 

i mixed it with the Red Anjou Pears from the Olympia farmer’s market.  only think i would change is maybe mound up the apples higher … they cook down and then end up being too sparse for the crumble.  now i got to think how many dishes to make an how people are going to eat them … wink … there is after all, no shortage of these apples.
