Tag wiki reference seems inconsistent

[tags faq,fastblogit,rooms] should give me 4 items. Why? because I can go to the

icon and it gives me 4 items tagged with the word room. However it doesn't seem to work that way, why?

there are 4 items tagged with "room", but only 2 tagged with "room" and "faq" and "fastblogit". Tag rooms are formed by the conjunction of the tags.

It seems to be the difference between clicking on the word and clicking on the plus.

Clicking on the word goes back to the common river. Clicking on the plus further restricts the current items in the room to whatever the room was constructed with (tags) as well as the new word. The confusing part is the count on the tags which apparently apply to the common stream ?

Definitely. Clicking the plus "ands" it to the current room, clicking the tag itself goes the that tag alone in the river or in the group. This was discussed on tag display and navigation project with reference to the similarity of this with del.icio.us. But this definitely should be in a faq.
