Pumpkin Soup 2016

I pretty much used http://minimalistbaker.com/simple-pumpkin-soup/ recipe again with some notable variations.

First you do need to tediously cut up a pumpkin before baking it.   I also added 1 T of #PumpkinPieSpice.   In retrospect i think i could add a bit more maple sourip to compensate by the extra spice.

The scattering of #PineNuts were a last minute variation.  Wasted on a #toothlessfoodie but frequently there is some kind of topping, usually pumpkin seeds, at least these can be easily eaten.

I’m doing this again.   Going to eat it with the left over 2 pieces of  air fried chicken.   I had not as much pumpkin puree … i used a lot of carrot and more onion and even an old pablano that was rottig in the fridge.  I actually think the flavor was better … denisedid too … she even liked the pinion nuts that i trew in there for an added little neek.
