Similar condition . Ex Libris emblem on the first book & gifted by someone to someone – hard to read the writing. Advertizement on a bad issue of “Through the Looking Glass” loose in the first book. Dust jacket is in several pieces & is unremarkable except the spine has the book name & price of 8/6 net. Abe books sells theirs for $1250 for the pair. I speculate slightly under that.
