Value of Thought & Story

Thoughts are stories or narrative.  They connect in a pattern events which happen.

But there are zillions of different stories, each of which will #RingTrue,  and will explain the same context or set of events.

So how should we pick which stories to tell … and to live ?

Well, i say,  the ones which  best predict are the valuable ones.   It seems to me the primary usefulness of thoughts lies in their ability to predict before the fact … rather than in their ability to explainin or describe after the fact.
