earlier and later buttons in the nav panel are now context sensitive

Sometimes the navigation buttons  

appear in the nav panel and sometimes they don't.  They don't appear in cases where they would not apply. 

Now there are no empty rooms at all !

Many other navigation problems have been fixed. 
Please check it out and report any cases where it does not appear to work as expected ...
