2609 has a longer url - did you use the blog button to create it ?
it's not the length of the url.  i don't know why the server barfs on getting the page from some places and not others.  needs someone to dig in and find out why the get from your local computer returns 202 but from the spry server does not.  or barring that how can the line of php code be trapped so that it does not yield the warning.

note this is the second bug reported containing the same Warning, see about url. This problem occurs whevever the server cannot read a url given in the about url box when it is attempting to retrieve the titel of the page. The solution is to trap that error. Note that there is a easy work around. Just blog the url with the fastblogit button instead of manually.

The problem is that I don't know the URL is a problem until I get the error messages and then it is too late!
