Can't trust Google News either

I was suprised to see this bit of Bush bashing as a news article in Google news this morning. It's not even accurate in some places -

"It's no accident that hybrid cars have taken off in sales as petrol has taken a bigger bite out of Americans' pay packets."
The hype for hybrid cars has taken off, but they promise nothing in terms of real solution to the oil problem. And I am suprised that the Brits think they got it all going what with their cities choked with the coal burning pollution in their air.

This is a look at this morning's business news. Notice the Bush-bashing headline that appears in the so-called "news".

I don't know about Google, me though that was calculated automatically.  Do you doubt that or do you have a better algorithm to fingure out which news story to show.

As to Bush's speech, for me the only interesting word he spoke was:  "switchgrass" ... a crop that is an efficient way to produce oil.

Yes prolly leave out the TimesOnline.uk.  I thought that "switchgrass" comment was for making alcohol or other combustables- somewhat like the scheme Larry & I had for converting Johnson grass a wild plant that grows as fast as kudzu in the south & plugs up drainage and other things & is mostly a nuisance. I thought Bush's official comment on America addicted to Oil was while obvious was fascinating given his previous ignoring of the fact.

Me thinks that getting America behind this and other alternative energy souces should be Bush's primary adgenda.  Jimmy Carter the the only president that really took this crisis seriously, and even he couldn't do enough.  The oil economy sucks and eventually will die. It can be traced to much that is distorted about the American economy.  It is time to put our enginuity to work to solve thes geo political gotchas.
