Clone moved the pieces around upon edit.
It should be stable within one pixel.  If your milage is varying, then we need to know particulars.  There is a situation where the edit screen shows it off by one pixel laterally on the left side, but even that one pixel is corrected on publish.  But I doubt that you are running into that one pixel variation.
Well I can't recreate the problem because of your changes. I had it for a moment.

Now I can't edit and supress the comments.
I'll put the supress comments in later.  There is a bug related to when the edit and clone button shows and when it does not ... don't know what it is yet ... some little glitch that creeped in.
