I like the musical idea of the pitch & vibrations - I would probably call that the harmonics (or hair-monics) of the situation.
I ran into DR in the '70s who was studying AC & who also had an interesting explanation of VooDoo. He explained that to get the results of VooDoo you have to believe in VooDoo & thus you are subject to others who believe & are willing to harm you. It is another expression of the Goldern Rule.
This also harmonizes with the thoughts of RS whose occult research discovers that upon death one lives his live backwards discarding one body after another until the spirit is the only thing left. In that process one lives in the astral body as if one is outside the world & everything takes place within one's astral body. The bad news of this is that one lives one's life at that time as if from the other point of view such that if a person hits one in the physical life - during this backwards life one feels the effects such that the same blow comes towards oneself. Another Golden Rule side-effect. This pertains to all things not just physical - the psychological applies as well. If one is abusive toward another in language the results are just as poignant.
The study of projective geometry helps train one's being to switch points of view.

people do what they do, not because of rules ... but because they are rewarded or punished. apparently this rule of yours has no ability to give instant gratification.

One of the things I like about what AC says in the original quote is that the GR is <u>not</u> necessarily an imperative we are compelled to obey (remember free deeds and mistakes!) as much as it is indicative of a balancing force in Nature and human society. A similar viewpoint might be related to "morphic resonance" & our ability (or not) to self-correct without coercion. That's part of the karmic burden we assume with incarnation, meh?
