This is about Project 2 (Developing Environments) - in interesting social experiment for artists & other participants - originally inspired perhaps by Project Artaud. This group is about the goings on & stories of the members of this community who lived & loved & worked at 2901 Mariposa St., San Francisco, CA. 94110 during the early 70's.

I had a nice long talk with John Fuller last night & that spurred on the desire to resume this "Where are they NOW ?" website & gather some memories & pictures for posterity.

It may be quite a task to find the web presence of some of the people we know, some we bumped into in the halls & some who have passed on .  I will list some here and then perhaps later fill in the links. Iain & Penny Adamson - visitors to Common Logic & John Fuller.
Penny died of breast cancer several of years ago. John, Iain & myself had dinner at a little Thai restaurant near Times Square in NY. RIP Penny.

Yes, a classic scene, indeed !  ... quite a bit of Saki ... followed by the intrusion of a finger in my nose ... followed by my fist in your face ... followed by being ejected from the restraunt
The ironic & unintentional serendipity of the significant & usual finger to the movement of your head positioning your nose in the exact right place was cosmick!
oh kewl ... blame the victim ... that poor snoze obviously beckoned ... seduced your finger ... it didn't really have a choice at all, did it ...
I had no intention of shoving your nose onto my finger. I thought you acknowledged that later after the brawl. That's not what would occur for me to do then drunk, angry or otherwise except right now. Obviously you were too drunk to realise that then & anchored the moment in your memory to justify hitting me in the nose.

Well, my friend, "intention" is a weird animal.  Fact is your finger did intrude into my nose quite uninvited.  It is impossible, and useless, to try to objectively talk of something quite so subjective as intention, decades after a drunken episode.   Sure, I can almost feel how my soft and vulnerable tissue was quite irresistible to your desire to probe ... just like your arrogant jaw was a force beckoning the thrust of my fist.   I do so love writing true sentences ... you really should try it. 

The Sushi and beer would be quite welcome ... your place or mine?

For our dear friend John Fuller who may very soon face operation to remove a collapsed lobe of his lung from lung cancer:

I spoke to John this morning.  He was feeling quite sick & hadn't begun the operation & was looking forward to chemo for a couple of weeks to shrink the problem in the lobe of his lung so that it could be removed without injuring the containing tissue. I will be sending him a warm fuzzy of comfort as often as I can.

The website & Facebook Community is much more developed now.  I see very little of the original people left. Probably a good thing.  Project 2 was real. A little bit smaller than the illusions brought to us by the miracle of the Internet - just emerging at the time - & the cellphone selfie generation of today. Sill it was an extract & model of what was outside - art imitating reality & reality imitating art.

Hi Mark.  A few notes:  My website is http://www.thresholdmodel.com
The automatic Human Jukebox was Grimes Posnikov.  He passed away. There was an article about him in the Chronicle, do not know when.
The guy with the junk downstairs who moved upstairs is Andy Taylor.  He moved to his own warehouse space in the Mission district. 
Photos are of me and George Palms, in upper-right photo, raising the 24 ft sail-mill I made from dumpster finds.  We raised it atop the building.  It stood for a few weeks.  I took it down fearing the law.  Dirty Pierre dumped its remains without warning.  George is the one we evicted and then we celebrated with an orgy.  I liked him.
