Well some do. I found this one from Tom Tancredo from the 6th district in Colorado : uri http://tancredo.house.gov/press/press_blog.shtml an outspoken opponent against illegal immigration.

Very kewl idea !  On the other hand many do have ones with the same old stuff in them - mostly written by their campaign staffs. It's the stuff they think you want to hear. Do you really think a modern media politician will tell you what he really thinks ?

At least we would have a chance ... and i think i could tell when candidates are talking straight from their heart and when they are talking out of the staff's side of their neck. 

If you think about it, democracy was invented for a time where things were closer ... when you knew your representitaves because they grew up in the town where you were born.  Now the biggest hurdle a new politician has is name recognition.  That sucks.  This could change things. Let the new politicians get close to us by spewing their guts in the blogosphere.  I'v just waiting for the day when i see a sign like this ...
