The actual question was fluff ... not something that one would rationaly take seriously .. and, in case you didnt grok my response, .. your question was just about as loaded as asking whether you enjoy beating your grandmother.  Who know whether Gore actually said it or not ... doesnt matter ... i think it puts the scale of the problem in a correct perspective ... but to actually debate the comparison of nuclear winter to the worst case senario of global warming would be to participate in an absurbity.
