Is politics no longer to be taken seriously ?

Listen to this podcast by linguist Geoff Nunberg on NPR's Fresh Air about how Ann Coulter has turned political dialogue into Reality TV. What he may not have known is that Ann Coulter has sunk to a new low. Now she licences her likeness and voice as a talking Barby Doll. According to Meranda Whittaker of talkingpresidents.com "She gets a royalty on every doll we sell".

Well for my part i am happy to laugh about it

... after all Ann is laughing all the way to the bank ... and some of the distortions her Barby Doll says are hilarious. Too bad her doll is not selling

, ... i want to laught all the way to the bank too. May i suggest, however, that for informed rational political dialogue you look elsewhere.

... notice that this headline is buried in most publications that made a stink when they published your headline. To the left, the seriousness of the charge is much more important than the truth of the situation.
