Prototype of Portable Braille Sudoku with Magnetic Tokens


The game would comprise these components:
  1. Game board - a stiff piece of card stock or milar with the 81 squares of a Sudoku board outlined in braille dots.   The  3 x 3 grids would  be outlined in double braile dots.    Shown in figure 2.
  2. A back board of magnetic material appr 8 1/2"  x 11 "  See prototype in figure 2. The prototype was made with strips, but we desire a solid piece.
  3. 3 or 4 stips of magnetic materials, approx 1/2" x 3 7/8" x 1/16" to hold the game card securly against the back board.
  4. 81 Playing tokens composed of numbers brailled on milar backed with magnetic sheets.  Shown top of figure 1 also played on the board, and on right side of figure 2.
  5. A 3 ring binder to hold multiple games.
The proposed game board wold be oriented in landscape mode on a 8 1/2 x 11 piece of 100 lb braille paper.  The inside dimensions of the boxes would be 12 dots wide and 8 dots high in graphics mode.  Each box would be separated by its adjacient box with one row of solid dots.  Every three boxes there would be a double row and colum of dots.  Also there would be a double row of dots around the outside of all of the boxes.   There is a sample game here.
