Well before you consider it, you may want to contemplate the other options that are being kicked around. Also consider the consequences. Sometimes when faced with totally unacceptable options, the best thing to do is something that sounds totally insane. Like i said, i think the only pertinant questions are: (1) is the pan feasable, and (2) what will be the consequences if it is actually implemented. Btw, i think that Israel could probably implement it better than we could. But i am sure, given enough motivation, you could get your mind in a space where you suspend those assumptions which are preventing you from considering this senario. Btw, what are those assumptions?

Answering a question with a question is an old non-response. There is nothing serious in your "concrete" proposal. You must be smoking something illegal. The only assumption I might be considering is that there are some sane people in the mix. Ahmadinejad is probably not one of them. Hyping catastrophe & world wars is not the way to make peace. There are too many pronouns in your articles & it is hard to figure out what problem you are addressing.

Well, M, i want people to take this bold scheme seriously. It is more of a thought problem than a script. It is not a joke. Nor do i think it is a likely senario. Nor do i think it would be easy to do. Nor do i think it would turn out quite as simplistic as i have described it above. But what it is not, is an escuse to jack off on and rubber duck about and propose even more rediculous senarios. If you want your response to stick here, consider the senario seriously. What would be the real problems of implementation? What would be the real consequences?

Yep. Actually my own business, online retailing, should be a growth industry. What would happen is that there would be extreme pressure on the economy to develop alternate energy sources. I happen to think that it would actually be a boon to the economy. What you need to figure out is what happens when oil goes to $200/barrel and Iran can still sell it. How much more terror can they reign. I doubt that Iran could "wipe out" Israel with no oil revenue to buy wepons. I doubt that Russia and China would retaliate. They might try to open the wells, but they would have no motive to retaliate against US and Israel. If the wells are blocked, that is the problem for them. Anyway Russis has plenty of oil. China might be hurting though but they will be scrambling around looking for places to buy oil just like the rest of the world.

Thing is if you are fighting somone who has something that you want, then they are at a sever advantage. My stratagy takes away the advantage also takes away our reason to impose our influence on the Muslim world. That solves their problem. It also creates a sever challenge for the rest of the world. Sink or swim. In no time we should be back in the business of exporting the tech know how to meet the challenge. Look if people heed the drums of war, and they are getting deffining, then there will be total stress on out civilization in any case. This way we choose which stress we want to tackel. You might want to try understanding the plan instead of ridiculing it. It might just be more interesting.

That is not true. I claim that it is entirely possible and even feasable for a batallion of commandos to take possession of a number of Iranian well heads. The concrete can be curied in by helecopter. A contraption could be rigged to funnel that concrete down the well head. The well then would not be able to pump any more oil without substantual time and investment. That oil revenue would be denied to the Iranian government and they would not be able to use it to further build up their military or use it to support terrorism in other countries. That event in conjunction with other events would be an effective stratagy to radically change the dynamics of the battlefield. Quite possible to the advantage of the West and Israel. Why do you refuse to consider that a serious proposal?

I have reread article and cannot find any pronouns that are not either obviously assigned to a reference or can be left comfortably vague. Did you carefully read the article which it is about? Which pronoun in particular are you haveing troubles with? If the pronoun in question is the "this" in my sentence: "That being said, there are two sides to this problem", the "this" refers on the one side to Israel's survival, and on the other side to the legitimate grievances of the Palestenians.
