Tall Things

This photo of the Radio Towers at top of Capitol Hill in Seattle Washington was constructed from 3 different shots using ArcSoft Panorama Maker which came free with my Nikon. Panaroma maker works better than i at first though it would ... look at this big screw in the comments below.  It is impossible to take detailed pictures of giant things when you are close to them without Panorama Maker or a wide angel lense.

Take a look at the radio towers in Google Earth. Notice that the towers from the satellite image stick up in a different direction than they stick up if you look at them from Madison Street. At the very top of the picture you can see just the tip of the third tower.

Perhaps some day Google's streetview will allow us to enhanse their imagery with our own photos.
