Panoramic View of the Port of Seattle

You can see two container ships docked at Terminal 18 on Harbor Island. One of them is the COSCO DALAIN which shuttles between Hong Kong, Yantian, Yokohama, Seattle, and Vancouver.  There is only one truly perfect view of the Port and that might be from the bike path under the West Seattle Bridge ... stay tuned.

Nice port!
Apparently the Red Chinese government owns COSCO.  In this letter to one of Colorado's Senators some were concerned about their aquisition of space at Long Beach, California.  But apparently, as did the Dubai Ports scandal, enough people got greased that COSCO got what they wanted & some of Seattle ports as well.  This situation would be interesting if updated.

The COSCO DALAIN was still in port fully loaded on Friday.  It  had something to do with Bloody Thursday.  I don't think COSCO operates T18, though i'm not sure; but since we get most of our "stuff" from China i think their ships, of necessity, are going to have perminant rotations at our ports.
