I often wonder about Congress ....

  I often wonder about lawyers & legislators - whether they were "hiding behind the door when brains were passed out".  Some seem to think national security is like a baseball game with terrorists "safe at 1st base" even though they got here illegally or became citizens or some such ruse BUT threaded the legal system successfully.  Without a country there won't be any use for laws or legislators -
have they thought about that yet ?
