This man, who always talks with a smerk, does his cause no justice in denying facts. It casts the things he says which do have merit into doubt. I think Iran deserves a better spokesman.

What is uppermost in this liberal's mind is Ahmadinejad's lack of crdibility: when he says there are no homosexuals in Iran, we know he is bending the facts. So what does that do to our process of believing him when he tells us that Iran is not refining Uranium for the purposes of building a bomb? We, the liberals, have the same problem with our own administration ... when they say there are WMD in Iraq when they know that they have no credible evidance of such, then we no longer believe them when they tell us that Iran is supporting terrorism in Iraq. The problem is the crdibility of our national spokesmen.

I wonder how to get the message to our leaders that spinning the truth is no longer acceptable!

I wonder when liberals will give up their moral equivalency of America with obvious Terrorists!

... maybe that's because leaders decieving their population is a serious source of world conflict. Think of how many wars would have been avoided if people would never tolerate such deceit. This is an important issue ... not an issue to just bury in wrg foolishness and partisan stubborness. I think i will vote for the candidate who comes out the most believable ... regardless of their party. This idea of determining in some closed process that a war should be waged, and then selling it to the people through the media is what is at fault. The first deceit should be grounds for impeachment ... and that goes for presidents and congressmen alike.

Sounds good to me! That would have eliminated most of the presidents since George Washington & about 99% of the current congress & possibly the whole Supreme Court.

That is why to change things we need a new awareness of the importance of not decieving citizens. We want to strive for a zero tolerance.

Yes perhaps lawyers. But journalists are not elected nor are they officers of the court. It would be nice if they were just as honest, but i seen no practical means of enforcing that which would not have even greater undersired consequences.
