Strange juxtaposition of a caption and a picture, original to this site.  I found this picture at my favorite Kona coffee web site.   At the very bottom of the page is presumably the wisdom of a lot of known & unknown figures in history & elsewhere regarding the subject of war.

What none of them seems to crystallize is how to avoid war nor how & when to defend a country against war.  I usually insist on learning the Golden Rule as a individual & sharing it with all you meet & interact with by example.  Such takes longer than all wars, & all pacifism but will win the longest peace there ever will be. Remember the Golden Rule is sensed from within & can't be legislated by politicians & governments nor mobs, theocracies & religious groups.

   

 The Golden Rule is a transformation into a new & different Dimension.
