About: two ai pioneers. two bizarre suicides. what really happened?

Reading between the lines is more interesting than the stories, I think.
By their own theories I suspect that their programs were flawed & must have violated the third law of robotics.
So where is the today on AI?
 
P.S. I still hold that the turing experiment is not as valid a test of artificial intelligence as the artificial intelligence coefficient Ci - a measure of how much an AI program or machine increases (leverages) a human's ability to think (like a multiplier) of his/her thinking speed or memory processes.
human intelligence ~ normalized to an IQ between 1 & 100
calculators = 1 < Ci < 2
computers =  2< Ci <3
computers with AI = 3 < Cai < infinity?
or something like that.  Rather than a function or feature such as babble, it must multiply a thinking person's ability to think & solve already unsolved problems.
Why can't the AI geniuses make a natural language corpus from a dictionary? an online dictionary? All of the relationships & meanings are there & can be read by a human. It may be an endless walled garden, but so is collecting all the common sense.  IMHO, the missing ingredient is the sense for language or meaning, context, etc.
(I wonder if it is possible to derive that parents are older than their natural children from the definitions & examples in the dictionary)
