I wonder if I were running for president & if I had spent time over the past 20 years listening to Osama bin Laden in his religious hide-a-way if people wouldn't be curious how much rubbed off on me & still remained in my thoughts & reasoning? I know the length of time Obama might have spent listening to Wright's sermons flys in the face of his assertion that he didn't know how deep Wright's bombastic attitude went. But we don't know for a fact what the sermons were and how Barack interperted them. What we do know is that none of that did rubb off on Barack. At least i would like to have somone to point to where it has affected Obama's attitude. Short of that i think, like Spike Lee, that you all should just shut up about it. Unless of course you are being paid by Hillary or McCain to keep the race hatred thingy going .. then, hey, that's cool .... their money spends too.

Why not just listen to Obama and see if you can hear any of Wright's attitudes comming out of his mouth?

Well, his remarks for the last 6 weeks have been engineered to get his feet out of the fire. It's going to take another 6 weeks for me to begin to believe anything he says. Call it probation for waiting 6 weeks to thoroughly own/disown the scandal. He could, of course, proclaim 714 from the mountain tops & be congruent with same then he would only have to serve 3 weeks.

Unfortunately, we do know exactly what the sermons were - they were sold on DVD & that was what Foxnews used to edit down to provide the sound bytes. Of course if you are like those conspiracy theorists (rev? Wright included) that think it was all a fake (We didn't really go to the moon ... etc.) then you will believe anything.

The question is not what is in Wright's sermons, the question is what was in the sermons that Barack heard. I hate to say this, but probably the only person who could remember which sermons Obama heard would be the good reverand himself. We can only hope that he does not get too vindictive.
